Personal Weekly Workout Diary


Seahawks:  Use the attached form to keep track of your daily yardage.  It is always a confidence builder and satisfying to know how far you have swam in a week,month, year, etc.   For example,  If you swim 7,000 yards you would cover the distance from TAC to PNC Arena.   If you swam 10,000 yards a week for 3 months it would be about the same (except for the sharks!) as swimming from Emerald Island, North Carolina, to Bald Head Island, South Carolina or about 79 miles, shore to shore.  Or it would take about 2 years at the same pace to go fall the way to the shores of Miami Beach, Florida.  Long term, if you swim 30,000 yards a week you would circle the globe in less than 30 years!


There is also a place to recored your best times in a practice or in a swim meet, as well as a spot to list personal accomplishments  and set new goals.  And, finally, a section to chart your spiritual growth in relation to the scripture from Colossians 1:10, "so that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God,"  It really doesn't matter how well or how far you swim if your character doesn't match your accomplishments.
